My dream is to have a comfortable place to live out my retirement years without it being a nursing home. (I’ve already lived 2 yrs in one from a stroke). I have to wait til I’m 62 in September to apply for this low income retirement apartment I’m interested in so I’m temporarily staying with a niece. I’ve taken care of my Dad, my Mom, my Granny, my Sister and my Brother-in-law when they were ill. They have all passed on. I’m left on my own now. I worry that I won’t be able to make it financially. I worry where I’m going to get furniture and miscellaneous for an apartment. All I have now is some bath towels, 2 coffee cups, 2 soup mugs and some juice size plastic cups. Girls with a hope chest have more than that. Lol.😃 I’m hopeful though. If you can help make any part of my dream come to pass, I would be forever grateful.
