My dream is for my son to attend college in the Spring 2018. He is a good, not perfect young who has worked hard at doing the the right thing with all of the odds stacked against him. Although he was told by his teachers that he would not make it to middle school or graduate from high school due to a unique learning difference. My son has proven that he could not only graduate from high school(ranked #3 by 1/10 of a point), but also from a Junior college in May. Last Fall semester he was finally diagnosed with a medical condition after months of intense pain, muscles breaking down, elevated kidney levels and surgery. My son never quit or missed a day of class. When my mother started exhibiting some health problems prior to of start of this Fall 2017 semester, he decided not to go school and help her. It breaks my heart to see his strong desire to continue his education and not have the financial means to make it happen for him. He has applied for scholarships, but he wil not find out if he is going to recieve any until after his school has started. His father is looking down from Heaven and smiling. I am also very proud of the young man that he has become and I pray that his dream is able to be granted. I do believe what you make happen for others, GOD will make happen for you. Thank you in advance and GOD bless you.
