Hello, my name is Raina Carroll. I moved to Los Angeles when I was 17 years old to pursue my dream of being a dancer/actor and starting my clothing line. I am now 22 years old. I have attended FIDM for 2 years (I want to go back to finish but I can’t afford it) and then went to EI Makeup school and graduated with a makeup artist degree last year (which I can’t receive until I finish paying the tuition). I did this because I want to incorporate makeup in my clothing store. I am ambitious and hardworking. I have a business plan to show how serious I am but I haven’t been able to move on. I also already have my domain name. Nevertheless, I come from a single family home and my mom has been out of work for a Year and we are struggling to making ends meet. For example, I have to find affordable housing by August 1st. I work as a Jr. Account and this is teaching me how to run my business but I am living pay check to pay check. I know that I have the talent to create a quality urban clothing line. However, I do not have the finances to make this happen. I have done my research and I have made contact with manufacturers but I don’t have the capital, not even start small online. Which I feel is the best way to start before I take on a store front. I want to financially independent before I do that. With your help, I could make my dream come true. I am a hard worker and I know that this is what I can be successful at. Please consider helping move forward and I promise to play it forward one day soon.
Blessings,
Raina
