I grew up moving around a lot and depending on assistance with housing and food due to the poor choices and poor health of family members. All I’ve ever wanted is a real home. I put myself through college and became a Kindergarten teacher. I married my husband a month after I graduated college then 7 months later we found out we were having a baby! Now she is here, almost a year old, and all we want is a home that we can raise her in. My husband lost his job while I was pregnant and we had to move in with his parents. The cost of student loans and medical bills along with everyday living is preventing us from being able to make our way toward owning a home.
