What is your first thought when you see the Krispy Kreme’s hot light comes on? For most, it’s “It’s the perfect time to get a hot moist donut, fresh out of the oven.” I hear you! They are great, but what’s even better is that now you can get your Krispy Kreme fix and help a teen aging out of fostercare.
From November 1, 2024 – December 1, 2024, The Knighten Project has teamed up with Krispy Kreme (through GroupRaise) for a Digital Dozens Fundraiser. This allows you to purchase a dozen hot and fresh donuts, and give back to a community of people who are often forgotten and invisible.
How does the Digital Dozen Fundraiser work:
- Click https://www.groupraise.com/oc/51297 and purchase a dozen donuts (or more, way more).
- The Knighten Project will receive 50% of your purchase.
- You will receive your Receipt/coupon for purchase, which you can take to your local Krispy Kreme to get your donuts.
What is The Knighten Project?
We provide brand-new suitcases to teens aging out of foster care and fill them with everyday essentials as they transition into adulthood. For most teens aging out of foster care, if they don’t have a place to call home they become homeless. They are often given trash bags. So we give them brand new bags to protect their things and help them feel secure.
