Mr. David Mosley is a Computer Tech teacher at Star Spencer High School in Spencer, Oklahoma. For the past approximately 10 years he has devoted his time both during and after school, to a group of young men at our school called “BOS”, Brothers of Stomp. “BOS” is an at-risk group of young men who are committed to be the best that they can be at school and in their communities. They perform by stepping at shows across the country, including an appearance a few years ago on 106 and Park on BET. Moreover, they are dedicated to doing hundreds of hours of community service each year. Coach Moe, as he is affectionately called, works hard to give these young men opportunities they otherwise would not experience living in rural Spencer, Oklahoma , if not for the love and dedication he has shown hundreds of young men over the years who struggle to find their identities and self worth while living in such adverse circumstances. He takes a lot of critisim by other teachers who I feel are just jealous of a commitment no other coach or teacher has ever shown to our students. My dream is that Mr. Mosley and the former members of BOS be featured on your show so these young men can let him know how much they appreciate all his hard work and dedication he has shown them over the years.
